We know that Taika Waititi‘s upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder will see Natalie Portman not only making a comeback, but also see her taking over the mantel of Thor. We also know it will include Chris Hemsworth as Thor and the return of Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. And now, thanks to Collider we know that Christian Bale is in talks to join the cast as well.
What role he might be playing is currently not being shared, but I am here to say I hope he plays the villain. Bale is not new to super hero franchises, having stared as Batman in the Dark Knight series. Seeing him in any role would be terrific, but I can’t imagine with a name like his, that it would be a small role. Don’t worry though because we have time to really think about it. Once we learn a bit more about the storyline, I am sure we are going to get more names for actors and actresses joining the cast.
Thor: Love and Thunder is set to release on November 5, 2021, giving us a little under two years to get excited!
