Thor and Loki Have a Heart-to-Heart in New THOR: RAGNAROK Clip

Thor: Ragnarok is almost in theaters! We’re so close at only two weeks away! And when movies get closer, that means more movie clips are released. In this clip, we see Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) having a quiet moment together before moving in to another action scene. It’s funny, it’s sweet, it’s just great.

One of the ongoing stories with Thor is his relationship with his brother Loki. When we lost saw Loki, he had made his way onto the throne of Asgard, impersonating the true ruler, Odin (Anthony Hopkins) . We’ll have to learn what happened that got him on Sakaar in the first place. But in the meantime, the two need to work together in order to get off the wasteland planet.

In the clip we see Thor confessing to Loki that he always pictured the two of them fighting side by side forever. But he admits that it will never happen because their paths had diverged long ago. They can’t change who they are and the actions they’ve taken. Loki contemplates on Thor’s words before Thor comes up with a scheme. The “Get Help” method. Loki doesn’t want to do it and hilarity ensues. You’ll have to see the clip to judge for yourself.

What I like most about the clip is Thor’s honesty. While I found it a little sad that Loki just wanted to never see Thor again, it’s nice to see Thor continually tries to forgive and work with his brother. Even after all the horrible things Loki has done, Thor still genuinely loves his brother. Maybe we’ll see Loki on the path to redemption? …just kidding, Loki will never be good again. However, it will be nice to see the brothers working together again.
