The second trailer for Blade Runner 2049 has debuted and man does it contain a visual splendor. The sequel to the neo-noir sci-fi film classic sees Ryan Gosling‘s LAPD Officer K, a blade runner, uncovering a secret that could lead to the end of humanity as they know it. Along his journey, he discovers another blade runner who disappeared 30 years ago – Harrison Ford‘s Rick Decard.

California in 2049 sees Jared Leto‘s very creepy Neander Wallace is manufacturing replicants. But in order to advance their evolution, he needs Decard. He is the key – or so we’re led to believe. K finds Decard and wants to ask him questions regarding his disappearance. He admits that he covered his tracks and scrambled their files because they were being hunted. “By who?”

We’re then treated to an explosion of action and questions. Such as who is Sylvia Hoeks character and why is she seemingly hunting down K? Who is Robin Wright‘s character in relation to K? But really – why is Decard the key? Will they finally reveal the truth of the long debated answer as to whether he’s a replicant or not? We’ll have to see to find out! But let me geek out for a hot second by saying – THOSE CARS! So very cool.
