Wednesday, Netflix’s The Witcher dropped a new promo poster of Geralt (Henry Cavill) with the words “Destined to Protect.” Yesterday, we got one for Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and today, we got Ciri’s (Freya Allan). All feature a similar “destined to …” theme with stunning images to get us hyped for season two. And I know everyone is hype already, but these images are a nice gift for waiting ever so patiently.

Yennefer’s photo reads “Destined to Survive,” and from what we know from the trailers, she is deep within enemy territory. After the Battle of Sodden Hill at the end of season one, everyone thought Yennefer was dead. While she is thankfully alive, she is in the hands of the Nilfgaardian Army. Now her only goal is to survive long enough to get out of there. And knowing our Yennefer, she definitely will.

Now Ciri’s photo reads “Destined to Fight.” And that makes me ecstatic. We know that Geralt’s goal in taking her to Kaer Morhen was to protect her. Make life a bit easier for both of them. But it doesn’t look like Ciri is ready to let someone else protect her. We have seen quite a few training montages throughout the trailers to know that Ciri is well on her way to becoming a Witcher.

The Witcher season two drops on December 17, 2021. If you haven’t watched the first season, you can binge it on Netflix! We’ve dropped the two promo images below for you to enjoy. What do you think of Yennefer and Ciri? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
