We are so close to the release of season two of The Witcher on Netflix that I can smell it. And it smells like Henry Cavill covered in mud and monster blood. But just because we are this close doesn’t mean they will stop throwing all of the goodness at us just yet. Today, we got a brand new poster, images and a new story trailer packed with lore and action. There is so much information, we had to watch it a few times!

The Witcher season two follows Geralt (Cavill) after the events of the battle of Sodden Hill. In an attempt to protect Ciri (Freya Allan), Geralt takes her to Kaer Morhen. But in this trailer, we learn that war has come between the north and south and there is nowhere to hide. It’s almost like the end of days is coming. Of course, Geralt has lived through quite a few “end of days,” but things are different this time.
We also get another chance to see Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) behind enemy lines. But she is trying her best to convince Fringilla (Mimi Ndiweni) that her leader is lying to her. But I don’t think she is going to be able to get through to her. What really got me excited with this new trailer comes at the end. Both Geralt and Ciri face off against a monster and just seeing them fight together is everything we need!
The Witcher stars Cavill, Allan, Chalotra, Ndiweni, Joey Batey (Jaskier), MyAnna Buring (Tissaia), Anna Shaffer (Triss), Eamon Farren (Cahir), Kristofer Hivju (Nivellen), Royce Pierreson (Istredd) and so many more.
The Witcher season two drops onto Netflix starting December 17, 2021. If you haven’t watched the first season, you can binge it on Netflix! We’ve dropped the trailer, poster and new images below for you to enjoy! What do you think of this new season? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
