And the giving keeps going today during WitcherCon! Netflix officially announced the official release date for season two of The Witcher earlier. And then they went on to drop a whole new trailer and images for us to enjoy! And no, this isn’t one of those quick 15 second trailers like we had of Geralt (Henry Cavill) and Ciri (Freya Allan). This one is over two minutes long and gives us more than we could have ever asked for.

The Witcher‘s season two trailer gives us a closer look at the events right after the Battle of Sodden Hill. Geralt and Ciri make their way to Kaer Morhen, where her training can get underway. It looks like Geralt and the others are ready to give her the tools she needs in order to take control of the fear building inside her and change it to power.

We also get a quick look at two people I have been worrying about the most. First, it seems that Yennifer (Anya Chalotra) is alive but in the hands of the enemy and Jasiker (Joey Batey) is rocking out and sporting a new hairstyle. I’ve got so many questions for season two. Like will it heavily focus on Ciri’s training? Or are we going to see a quick training montage before they set out to save Yennifer? And most importantly – will Geralt apologize to Jasiker.

Okay, so maybe that last one isn’t the most important part, but I really need this bromance to fix itself and fast. So get your coins ready, guys! The Witcher season two will drop on December 17, 2021. Haven’t watched season one? Check it out here! Check out the brand new trailer and more images from the upcoming season below.
