This is not a drill! Netflix snuck a tweet out today of Henry Cavill and Freya Allan dressed as Geralt and Ciri and then snuck the release date for season two underneath The Witcher title! I’m looking at you, Netflix; you knew what you were doing! Plus we got the season two episode titles as well!

With Witcher Con kicking off today, I had a feeling we could get the release date towards the end of the day. But you won’t see me complaining that we got it early. We’ve also seen two trailers for season two of The Witcher. While they are rather short, they give us a brief idea of what Geralt and Ciri have been up to. Now we are just waiting to learn more about the fate of Yennifer (Anya Chalotra) and where my sweet arrogant bard Jaskier (Joey Batey) has gone off to.

The Witcher season two sees Geralt bring Ciri to his childhood home of Kaer Morhen, convinced that Yennefer died at the Battle of Sodden. There, he fights to protect her from the power bubbling inside her as the country’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy.

If you haven’t watched or finished the first season, now is the time! Season two of The Witcher will drop on December 17, 2021, on Netflix!
