We are so close to season two of Netflix’s The Witcher that I can feel it. And we aren’t the only ones excited either! Over the last few weeks, we have gotten new trailers, news, sneak peeks and much more. And today, we woke up to a brand new promo image of Geralt (Henry Cavill)! And a morning that starts will Cavill will always be a good morning, my friends.

The second season of The Witcher is really looking to focus on Geralt and Ciri’s (Freya Allan) relationship as he takes her to Kaer Morhen. From clips and trailers, we get the impression he was initially just taking her there to protect her, but we know that she eventually begins her own training to become a monster hunter. The promo art features the phrase “Destined To Protect,” and with a show that plays heavily into the idea of destiny and fate, this means a lot. Almost like he was always supposed to find his way here.

We have quite a few questions and theories on how season two is going to play out, but nothing is concrete until it airs. We still have some time which hopefully means we will see another trailer or two plus more season two photos. Maybe even a better look at what our favorite bard, Jaskier (Joey Batey), has been up to. And I really need to know who does his hair! Plus, we need to see more of Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and reunite her and Geralt this season. We can hope, right?

The Witcher season two will drop on Netflix starting December 17, 2021. We’ve dropped the promo art down below for you to enjoy! If you haven’t watched season one, stop waiting! You can find it here! What do you think of this new promo art? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
