During Netflix’s Geeked Week, we got our first trailer for the second season of The Witcher. It heavily focused on Ciri (Freya Allan) and with this trailer, we get a glimpse at Geralt (Henry Cavill).

It’s still just as cryptic, but we do get the chance to see some new shots of our favorite monster hunter. First, we hear him ask someone if they are ready and then other voices say the words salvation and finally, we hear Geralt scream run. These could be linked to the training with Ciri and thinking back on his own path and their destinies moving forward.

The Witcher season two sees Geralt bring Ciri to his childhood home of Kaer Morhen, convinced that Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) died at the Battle of Sodden. There, he fights to protect her from the power bubbling inside her as the country’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy. If Netflix is following a set pattern with one trailer a week, there is a chance we are going to get a Yennifer one next Friday.

We still have quite a few questions for the upcoming season of The Witcher, but it seems like they aren’t ready to share when we will get answers.
