Things have been a bit quiet on The Witcher front until yesterday’s first look at Henry Cavill‘s new threads for season two. Now today we are getting our first look at images for Freya Allan‘s season two Ciri. The official Twitter for the show shared two images this morning, along with the quote: “She gave tearful goodbyes on a most violent night. Now this child of surprise is preparing to fight.”
Geralt spent nearly half of the first season running from his “child surprise” until it became clear he needed to protect her. Of course that was easier said than done, but they did find each other in the end. From the images and quote, it is pretty clear that Ciri is going through some type of training in The Witcher season two. We are hopeful that her new tutor is going to be Geralt himself. Who better to learn monster hunting and sword fighting from than the man who slays?

Now that we have had new images of both Geralt and Ciri, we are just missing Yennefer (Anya Chalotra). Maybe tomorrow they will grace us with new shots of our favorite mage. The Witcher is still set to release on Netflix sometime in 2021. We are hopeful that we won’t have to wait too long to get our fill of Freya Allan’s new badass look!
