The Witcher Season One dropped into streaming fans’ collective lap to much fanfare. Of course, series lead Henry Cavill may have contributed to the show’s immense popularity. That, and Netflix morphing a wildly successful video game franchise/series of books into a fantasy show. Now, fans of The Witcher can bask in Cavill’s infinite glory with a slew of new first look photos of Geralt of Rivia’s new armor!

Cavill shared photos of the new armor on his Instagram Monday. The actor added a quote from author Andrezj Sapkowski, who created The Witcher novels. Netflix’s official Twitter account for the show followed suit with the armor reveal on their platform.

‘It may turn out,’ said the white-haired man a moment later, ‘That their comrades or cronies may ask what befell these evil men. Tell them the Wolf bit them. The White Wolf. And add that they should keep glancing over their shoulders. One day they’ll look back and see the Wolf.’

The images show slight modifications to Geralt’s armor, but the monster killer is still sporting his white wolf medallion and silver sword from Season One.

Below, you can take a gander at Geralt of Rivia’s new armor for yourselves. Me? I think he looks quite fetching. He’s ready to slay, as far as I’m concerned. I’m anxious to see his new armor in action when The Witcher Season Two arrives.

The Witcher stars Henry Cavill, Freya AllanBasil EidenbenzAnya ChalotraMimi Ndiweni, and Mecia Simson. Season Two is slated to drop sometime in 2021.
