Netflix has dropped a new teaser trailer for their upcoming series The Witcher: Blood Origin, and spoiler alert – it will give you chills. It’s packed with brief appearances, action and a beautiful song to set the mood. The series is a prequel set in an elven world nearly 1200 years before the events of The Witcher. It will tell a story lost to time and explore everything from the creation of the first Witcher to the events leading p to the Conjunction of the Spheres.

The Witcher: Blood Origin stars Michelle Yeoh as Scían, Laurence O’Fuarain as Fjall and Sophia Brown as Éile. The teaser trailer gives us a closer look at the three of them in action and the beautiful elven world we hope to learn more about. The real focus of the teaser is on Yeoh’s Scían, who is on a quest for a magical stolen blade. But there appears to be more at play here, and we wonder what terrors this group will face.
