The Wheel of Time
The world is changing rapidly for Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski) and his friends. The Last Battle is on the horizon, and the rest of the Forsaken have awoken. Allies and foes far and wide now must face their respective destinies.
Prime Video has unleashed the explosive official trailer for The Wheel of Time Season 3 and new key art. These releases are part of #WOTWednesdays, a weekly reveal of new assets leading up to the season premiere.
Based on said trailer, we’re in for a wild, high-octane, action-packed ride. This season will also highlight the power of choices. Will Rand, as the Dragon Reborn, champion the Light? Or will he succumb to the Dark? As for Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike), she’s subjected to new visions, dictating that she and Rand’s fates are entwined. If Rand lives, she must die, and vice versa.

About Season 3
Here’s a synopsis for Season 3 per Amazon Studios:
“Season 3’s storylines are primarily based on the fourth book of Robert Jordan’s series, The Shadow Rising, which is a fan favorite and will take viewers to many new regions and cities across the fictional continent of the Westlands, including the vast deserts of the Aiel Waste, the intoxicating and dangerous port city of Tanchico, and the forbidden and fog-shrouded ancient city of Rhuidean, where Rand and Moiraine will both experience life-changing revelations.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, in Rand’s small hometown of Two Rivers, his lifelong friend Perrin Aybara (Marcus Rutherford) will also embark on a personal journey, one which will change him forever.”

The series stars Rosamund Pike as Moiraine Damodred, Daniel Henney as al’Lan Mandragoran, Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, Zoë Robins as Nynaeve al’Meara, Madeleine Madden as Egwene al’Vere, Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, Dónal Finn as Mat Cauthon, Ceara Coveney as Elayne Trakand, Sophie Okonedo as Siuan Sanche, Kate Fleetwood as Leandrin Guirale, Natasha O’Keeffe as Lanfear and Ayoola Smart as Aviendha.

Official Trailer and Key Art
