Webtoon dropped their latest collaboration last night in the form of a new music video alongside The Warning. Their video for “Animosity” features GRAVEWEAVER’s supernatural series I’m The Grim Reaper. Bandmates Daniela “Dany” Villarreal, Alejandra “Ale” and Paulina “Pau” shared that the new song from the recently released EP MAYDAY was inspired by the series, which makes this video so much better. The lyrics tie in perfectly to what we are seeing on screen.

The music video for “Animosity” features scenes from I’m The Grim Reaper. Plus, we see the trio get the comic treatment and take on some pretty terrifying monsters. For fans of the Webtoon, there are little bits that just scream Scarlett and her story. And for those who haven’t read the series, this song is seriously awesome. I suggest adding it to your daily playlist now and forever.
I’m The Grim Reaper follows a young woman named Scarlett who dies and is delivered down to the firey underworld only to find herself in an entry-level position known as The Grim Reaper. Now she has to collect the souls of some of the worst people on Earth. Good thing she happens to be Satan’s favorite Grim Reaper! The series dances the line between humor and horror without ever feeling overly campy. The video for “Animosity” matches the tone of the series in every way. Simply perfect.
