RELATED: Catch up on The Walking Dead Season 11 before the Part A Finale here!
First of all, Sunday nights episode ends on a couple of cliffhangers …
You’ve been warned …
In The Walking Dead Part A finale, Alexandria residents were battling a storm that started a fire in the windmill and walkers broke down the walls. Those walkers got into the house where all of the residents are hiding. Judith (Cailey Fleming) and Gracie (Anabelle Holloway) found themselves trapped in the basement and rain is pouring into the basement.
Daryl (Norman Reedus) watched Leah (Lynn Collins) kill Pope (Ritchie Coster) and blame him before she unleashed an attack on Maggie (Lauren Cohan). The final scene is Maggie and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) standing together watching arrows fly at them. Daryl is on the outside of the gates of Meridian, killing walkers.
And the last time we saw Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton) was forcing him to give up the location of his home community. Eugene had just committed his second offense, so he is in no position to ask for help from the Commonwealth.
The Walking Dead teaser trailer for Part B released Saturday, Daryl returns home to a very happy Judith; Maggie and Negan survive Leah’s attack; and The Commonwealth army arrives at Alexandria. It appears that the residents of Alexandria agree to go with the soldiers, unless they were forced. We see Pamela Milton for the first time. I’m pretty sure Lance is holding something over Eugene. He and Princess try to run from something and run into someone they weren’t expecting. And the Reapers are still around as we see Carver (Alex Meraz) and Leah.
My first speculation is that Maggie’s group survives the night, but go home empty handed. The Reapers agree to let them live if they leave and never come back. That’s when the Commonwealth shows up to save the day. But nothing is as good as it seems. There are obvious problems in the Commonwealth and we may finally get to see what those problems are. Watch the teaser below.
The Walking Dead season 11 part B returns Sunday, February 20, 2022. You can watch early premieres on AMC+.
