We are just days away from the return of The Walking Dead season nine. AMC released four new character posters, including the first for Little Miss Grimes.
The Walking Dead made a major jump into the future, aging everyone six years. Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming) is now around 10 years old and she is just like her dad. Other character posters include the three new show leads Michonne (Danai Gurira), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). The trio became the show leaders after Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan left the series earlier in the season. Cohan is rumored to return in season ten. TWD season ten was confirmed earlier this week.
The mid-season finale left off on a cliffhanger. A small group of the survivors, including Michonne and Daryl encountered a new threat. Humans dressed up as walkers. This new villains killed Jesus (Tom Payne), and surrounded the rest of the group in a graveyard. Leaving fans to wait two and a half months to find out what happens next.
TWD was created by Robert Kirkman, the show is based on the Skybound comic The Walking Dead. Angela Kang is the show runner with producers, Kirkman, Scott Gimple, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, and Greg Nicotero.
The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday, February 10. Check out the character posters below.
