Just ahead of the biggest pop culture weekend, AMC released the first promo poster for The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. And the fans are a buzzing about TWD’s obvious location.
As you can see, Carol (Melissa McBride), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), and Daryl (Norman Reedus) have made their way to Washington D. C. TWD season nine will be a new beginning for the survivors, so it’s makes sense that they would eventually make their way to the capital. The question is, what will they find there?
And then there are those rumors that Lincoln and Cohan will be leaving the show. It’s been reported by several entertainment sites that both actors are only signed on for six episodes. Both are scheduled to appear at San Diego Comic Con on July 20.

Fans reluctantly said goodbye to Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) on the FTWD mid-season finale. Without the matriarch of the show, what will Fear TWD become now? The promo poster features the remaining cast, new and old facing a major storm…both actual and metaphorically. Good thing they got Morgan Jones (Lennie James) to keep them together! James returns to SDCC with the cast of Fear TWD on Friday July 20.
TWD returns in October 2018 and the second half of FTWD season four returns August 12 on AMC.
