On behalf of ABC and Marvel Television, we apologize that Tuesday night’s episode of Agents of SHIELD was replaced by the Vice Presidential debates. We were not asked to apologize by the network or studio, but we feel that they owe us an apology for that decision and we are therefore taking it upon ourselves to apologize on their behalf.

If all goes well, then this Tuesday will see the third episode of the fourth season where it appears that Inhumans are still very much feared and hated. In case you’re not sure what we’re talking about, for the last couple of seasons now, Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team have discovered that there are some humans that carry alien DNA within them that can be unlocked by a mineral called Terrigen. When it’s unlocked, these humans gain new super powers and are then referred to as Inhumans. SHIELD recognizes that most of these Inhumans live in fear of who they are and what they’ve become, but most of the world fears them.

Nowhere is this more apparent than with Senator Nadeer (Parminder Nagra) who, as we see in this clip, basically declares war on the Inhumans, claiming they are to blame for multiple blackouts in multiple cities. Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), Mack (Henry Simmons) and Coulson (Clark Gregg) all suspect that this is not true and take off to get to the bottom of it.

You can watch the clip below and see a summary for the episode.

As Coulson, Mack and Fitz attempt to track down and neutralize a rogue group looking to end Inhuman Registration worldwide, Simmons and Dr. Radcliffe only have hours to save May before she succumbs forever to her mysterious illness.
