The Final Timeline
Brellies, hold on to your butts. We’ve got a premiere date for the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy. Netflix also released nine new character posters to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the show’s debut on the streamer. That’s right — the Hargreeves came into our lives in live-action form on February 15, 2019 (that feels like a decade ago, to be honest).
We don’t know much about the Season 4 synopsis, but when we last left our apocalypse-thwarting siblings, they arrived in a universe quite different from theirs. Firstly, they no longer have their powers. Secondly, Luther’s wife, Sloane, is missing.

Thirdly, Reginald Hargreeves is now a Lex Luthor-type presence, wielding his newfound power and influence with his newly resurrected wife by his side. Meanwhile, after striking a deal with Reginald, Allison has found a way to bring her husband from the 1960s Texas timeline and her daughter from the present into this “rebooted” universe.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4
The series stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya and Colm Feore. Newcomers Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally and David Cross round out the cast for the show’s last hurrah. Steve Blackman serves as showrunner and creator of this TV adaptation based on Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá‘s comic book series through Dark Horse Comics.

One thing I noticed from the character posters is Lila’s name change. Now, she’s Lila Hargreeves instead of Lila Pitts. That means she and Diego are married. Admittedly, this made me squeal with excitement. We also see Five holding his umbrella on the opposite side and Klaus with his signature pink one from the first season in the present-day version of himself.
