Good news for fans sucked in The Twilight Zone! On Monday, THR reported that the rebooted serial will be renewed for a second season on CBS All Access. That means even more stories of the strange and unusual are coming our way.

The news of the revival comes after only five episodes have been released of the first season. Julie McNamara, the executive VP of content for the streaming service, expressed her excitement at the continuation of the series. “Jordan [Peele], Simon [Kinberg], the creative team and cast have done a phenomenal job translating the series’ legacy of socially conscious storytelling for modern-day audiences. They are master storytellers, and we look forward to bringing fans further into The Twilight Zone with a second season.”

While it’s unknown how many viewers actually watched the season premiere episode, as CBS All Access doesn’t release that information, they’re boasting record numbers. It’s no surprise that the show would be renewed. Additionally, executive producer (and narrator) Jordan Peele is continuing his streak of success after the critical darling Us rocked the box office earlier this year. We can only hope that with a second season, there will be an even bigger cast list with even crazier stories.
