The amazing men and women of Badass Digest are reporting that they can now confirm the Russo Brothers, who directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, will direct Marvel’s two Infinity War films, to come out in 2018 and 2019, that will see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes finally face the threat of Thanos, set up at the very end of the first Avengers film.
According to a report from Hollywood Reporter, the duo plan on filming “Infinity War in one long shoot beginning sometime in 2016.”
But wait, it gets better. It’s also reported that the writers behind Captain America and Agent Carter, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, are the ones “most likely” to write Infinity War for the studio. They’re currently working on Captain America: Civil War.
Honestly, not bad for two dudes that started off doing Arrested Development and Community
