The OP Games generously sent me a number of games in exchange for honest reviews.

One of our favorite parts of the holiday season is getting the chance to hang out with friends and family and just enjoy each other’s company. In our house, we pull out a board or card game and dive into the excitement while catching up on what’s what in everyone’s lives. It’s made gifting a new board or card game such a terrific idea since we can start playing right away. It’s one of the reasons we fell in love with The Op Games. They have tons of classic games mixed with fun pop culture collaborations.

Jenga: Kool-Aid

We can hear the snickering from here but don’t pass this up. Jenga is such a terrific game to play with friends and family. It is easy to understand, and you just need a bit of hand-key coordination. Plus, this tie-in with Kool-Aid doesn’t just change the color, though they are fantastic in their own right. The new mechanics that have players rolling a die and moving the big jug of punch closer and further from the tower makes for some excitingly stressful gameplay.

Be sure to add Jenga: Kool-Aid to your list!

Critical Role Extravaganza

One of our favorite things about The Op Games is their collaboration with Critical Role. We love that nerdy ass group of voice actors and the adventures they take us on. And yes, they have campaign guides and tons of content for us to dive into their world, but this is another level. First, you have to check out Clue: Critical Role. It follows the same rules as the original game, with fun twists and turns. Plus, we know that you are guaranteed to love the Vox Machina and Mighty Nein puzzles.

Dungeons and Dragons Collab

Speaking of TTRPGs and Dungeons and Dragons, we can’t forget to mention The Op Games’ collaboration with Wizards of the Coast. You cannot pass up on Clue: Dungeons and Dragons and Monopoly: Dungeons and Dragons. Both of these are perfect for fans of adventuring and causing lifelong vendettas over making monster collectors go bankrupt when they accidentally land on your properties. While we highly recommend these, remember that Monopoly can make or break even the strongest of relationships.

Dr. Seuss and the Grinch

Is it the holiday season if we aren’t talking about the greenest and meanest Christmas denier in the world? The Op Games Dr. Seuss and The Grinch collection is the perfect gift. Monopoly: Dr. Seuss is great for the entire family and young board game players. And then their Clue: The Grinch and Dr. Seuss “Merry Grinchmas” puzzle is perfect for both the holiday season and as a gift. Just imagine sitting down and watching the movie while putting the puzzle together with your friends and family. That is the holiday season; all rolled up nicely with a bow.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Another holiday must-watch in our house is The Nightmare Before Christmas. This means that The Op Games’ collaboration with the iconic holiday movie is perfect for the gift-giving season. They have Monopoly: The Nightmare Before Christmas, Clue: The Nightmare Before Christmas, Operation: The Nightmare Before Christmas, and so much more. We highly suggest checking out Disney Tim Burton‘s The Nightmare Before Christmas Merry Madness!
