In just one month, The Marvels finally arrives in theaters. To celebrate, Marvel Studios has released another round of posters, clips and plot details. Has the cosmic phenomenon that serves as the movie’s narrative catalyst been revealed?

The Marvels 1 Month Countdown

Like the second most recently released clip, both of the clips focus on Carol “Captain Marvel” Danvers (Brie Larson). And this time, we get to see even more of her conflict with antagonist Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton). That isn’t the only parallel to the previously released promotional clips for The Marvels. Like both of those, these clips integrate footage from Captain Marvel and other earlier Marvel Cinematic Universe movies alongside footage from the upcoming movie.

Meanwhile, the four posters (see slideshow below) highlight the many different viewing options Marvel fans will have for the movie. These are RealD 3D, Screen X, IMAX, and Dolby. Each of the posters highlights all three of the leading heroes, with Maria Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala “Ms. Marvel” Khan (Iman Vellani) both joining Carol on each of them. Also appearing on one of the posters is Nick Fury  (Samuel L. Jackson). He’s accompanied by a whole herd of Flerkens.

And finally, while Loki (Tom Hiddleston) dodges black hole-type effects in Loki season 2, it seems Carol is going headfirst into a different type of cosmic phenomenon. According to the plot description released today, Carol’s “duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau.”
