Get ready Star Wars fans! We have more news surrounding the second season of the highly popular Disney Plus series, The Mandalorian. The most recent casting news comes to us from Deadline. They are sharing that Katee Sackhoff has been cast in the role of Bo-Katan Kryze. Honestly, we can’t think of a more perfect actress. Sackhoff is amazing and has already voiced the character in both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels.

In the season one finale of The Mandalorian we watched as Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) climbed out of his TIE fighter after cutting it open with the Darksaber. The same Darksaber we last saw in the hands of Bo-Katan herself. It is looking pretty clear that we are going to be seeing a lot of the Darksaber going forward. This idea looks even better as we recently learned that Rosario Dawson has been cast in the role of Ahsoka Tano.

The Mandalorian season two will air on Disney Plus in October 2020. Catch up on season one now! Check back with us for more news. Let us know in the comments below and on social media about how excited you are with Sackhoff reprising her role.
