THE MANDALORIAN Battles in the Desert in New Image

We got a brand new look at The Mandalorian today!

Thanks to EW, we have a brand new image showing the nameless warrior fighting two Trandoshan’s. This alien may look familiar to fans as it’s same the species as the bounty hunter Bossk, shown in The Empire Strikes Back. Sadly neither of them are the impatient bounty hunter from the planet Trandosha. However, it’s interesting to note that the Mandalorian is fighting the duo hand to hand, using his gun to block their blows. Could he have been caught off guard? Or is he just testing them? It seems like it could go either way. The planet looks new too. Could we actually be on Trandosha?

The live-action Star Wars series will follow the lone gunslinger across the galaxy for the highest bounties. The show will be set after the fall of the Empire but before the rise of The First Order. It stars Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian, Gina Carano as Cara Dune, a former Rebel shocktrooper, and Carl Weathers as Greef Carga, the leader of a bounty hunter guild. It also stars Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, Taika Waititi, Bill Burr and Mark Boone Junior.
