The latest and final trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom was released on April 13, 2023. This long-awaited sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild couldn’t come any sooner for fans on the edge of their seats for the past several years. Previous trailers blew gamers away, with beautiful lore hinted at through the art in the first trailer and dramatic chase scenes accompanied by fast-paced music in the second.
The third trailer opens with amazing shots of the sky and scenery before transitioning to Link, who is falling. As he falls, we see the logo for the game flashing on the screen. It’s a truly serene and gorgeous introduction to the trailer.

Soon, the trailer transitions from light colors and calm shots to a darkened castle. That sets the tone of this trailer, showing it is a mix of the last two. It showcases Link’s allies, the wonders of this world, and its enemies and terrors. We get goosebumps as the music picks up and see flashes of battles, monsters and fantastic game mechanics.
The action-packed theme of this game is solidified with the line spoken to Zelda toward the end of the trailer. “Zelda, we rely on your knight and that legendary sword he carries. Our last line of defense is Link.” Soon after, the main enemy is revealed to be none other than Ganon.
