The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are back and we cannot wait! The season 2 trailer for GLOW debuted today, showing off the lows and highs we should expect to see. It’s gonna be an emotional rollercoaster so who else is ready to go on the ride?
The ladies have garnered a fanbase! The gym is being updated by some “hunky” men. There’s even fans waiting outside the doors, hoping to see their favorite wrestler. Ruth (Alison Brie) and Debbie (Betty Gilpin) are still in a rough patch as Debbie is going through a divorce. Their friendship may be starting to truly heal, though Ruth seems to always be mucking that up. Like Ruth admitting that their show being cancelled before it can really take off is her fault. (At least that’s what editing says). They’re all about to go on another journey together and the ladies all seem ready for whatever’s being thrown their way.
Frankly, I’m pretty excited to see where they take the show this season. Especially since they’ve already dropped the plot point that their show is being cancelled. But they need to succeed, dangit! I’m mostly looking forward to seeing what they do with Ruth. I want to love her but man do I really hate her sometimes. She really is Zoya the Destroyer when she wants to be. But as the tagline says, Glow Big or Glow Home.
