When Tess Devine and her mother Opal uncover Tess’ grandmother’s diary which holds a series of mysteries inside. There is mention of a man who isn’t her grandfather, burglary and even a mysterious key. They can’t ask Helen what this all means now, so they set off on this trip to uncover the answers. They aren’t sure if they are going to find out anything, but this is clearly a situation where it is more about the journey than the destination.
Open Roads has a unique dialogue system that players will be able to delve into as the story progresses forward. Tess and Opal have set off on an adventure together not only to uncover their family secrets but also to strengthen their relationship. Fullbright’s Gone Home told a compelling story about queer identity and we can only imagine what they will be able to share through Open Roads.
Currently, Fullbright has not announced a released date but it will release for the PlayStation 5. Check out the trailer below and let us know how excited you are!
