Lady Luck returns to The Flash! In “The Good, the Bad and the Lucky,” Team Flash is on a mission to save an old friend from her bad luck. Mark (Jon Cor) offers to help Khione (Danielle Panabaker) manifest her meta powers.
Iris (Candice Patton) is pregnant! Although we knew this was going to happen soon, it’s actually three months early. Things are about to change for the West-Allen house. Are they ready? Maybe … For now Mom and Dad are going away for the weekend leaving the city in capable hands.
Do you remember Becky Sharpe (Sugar Lyn Beard), aka Hazard? A meta with the ability to spread bad luck on anyone who came within five feet of her. She died during the Thinker’s attempted take over of Central City. But! She’s back thanks to the Crisis on Infinite Earths reset. And now she spreads good luck until she got engaged to Dom (Drew Henderson). Something changed and bad luck followed Becky everywhere she went. Things really got bad when she found Dom unconscious in their apartment.

Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Jenna (Adina Insley) moved to the country and Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) comes home on the weekends. She’s planning to return home for Jenna’s birthday when Capt. Kramer (Carmen Moore) calls to ask for assistance on Becky’s case. Cecile doesn’t hesitate to agree to help.
Now that things have calmed down a bit, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris leave for Coast City for the CC Media launch party. Allegra (Kayla Compton) is having trouble with her apartment and her landlord is refusing to fix any issues she’s having. Yep, life happens even when you’re a superhero.
Mark wants to test Khione for meta powers. She was able to detect Iris’ pregnancy before Iris even knew. And she’s predicting an early spring. Khione is very in touch with nature. There’s still a lot we don’t know about Khione. Khione agrees and they recruit Chester (Brandon McKnight) to help.

BECKY
Dom is still alive, but in a coma. Kramer thinks Becky is innocent and someone is setting her up. Becky says Dom doesn’t have any enemies and no reason that anyone would want to hurt him. Cecile agrees to take the case but wants to start on Monday. All of the evidence is circumstantial so Becky could be released. Until Kramer says they found the murder weapon. Becky’s shoe.
Cecile enlists Allegra’s help to figure out who really attacked Dom. They go to Becky’s apartment and find a poker chip. Becky’s says Dom’s brother Tony (Andrew Francis) gambles a lot but she doesn’t think he would hurt Dom. Cecile interviews Tony. Tony says the last time he saw Dom was when they picked out Becky’s engagement ring. He also says Dom has been gambling. Dom didn’t want Becky to find out that he’s in serious debt. Cecile thinks Dom owes money and didn’t pay up. That’s why he was attacked. Tony says the poker chip comes from O’Shaughnessy’s bar. They run a high stakes casino night twice a month.
The ladies go to the bar, but the bar manager says he’s never seen Dom. Cecile looks at her phone and freaks out that she missed a call from Joe and Jenna. She steps aside to call them back and Allegra goes with her. Two men enter the bar and grab Becky. Cecile tries to stop them, but her powers are wonky. Looks like Becky’s bad luck is rubbing off on her. Becky is able to get away from them and Allegra blasts them with her UV waves. The guys get away, but now Becky has another thing to worry about.

CRASH TEST DUMMIES
Chester sets up dummies for Khione to test different kinds of power on. Mark is certain that she has powers. Mainly because he was in really bad shape after getting beat up by Red Death. Then Khione kissed him and his condition improved immediately. Chester says the only scientific explanation is that Khione has meta powers. Mark talks her through the process but nothing happens. They keep trying, but Chester says there are no dark matter readings coming from Khione. Mark gets upset and walks away. Chester offers to run some more tests.
Cecile pulls Dom’s banking records to try and find out who he owes money to. Becky accidentally spills coffee on the only copy though. Allegra sends Becky to get paper towels. That’s when Cecile realizes that she missed her train home. She freaks out again because she promised Jenna she would be there for her birthday breakfast. She expresses her frustration with Becky’s bad luck and Becky walks in.
Becky apologizes for being bad luck. She starts to cry saying she’s always been bad news. She’s jsut now getting what she deserves. Becky leaves and the two goons are waiting for her. Allegra powers up again, but the guys have some kind of device that makes Allegra’s powers backfire on her. Cecile tries her telekinesis again, but it fails once again. The guys leave with Becky.

MISSING YOU
Cecile and Allegra call Chester to help. Cecile can’t tap into Becky’s fear and thinks her powers are just not working. She leaves to call Jenna. Chester takes the device that caused Allegra’s power to backfire. He has a hunch why that happened. After he leaves, Allegra finds a blanket and pillow on Cecile’s couch and realizes that she’s sleeping in her office.
Khione finds Mark in the lounge and asks why he’s so angry. It’s because Khione kissed him and made him believe that Frost was alive. When he realized it wasn’t her, its like she died again. The kiss had some power over him and he believes Khione has Frost’s powers. Khione says Mark has more of Frost in him that she does. She comforts him with a story about wildflowers blossoming in canyon walls in Utah. She compares his feelings for frost to the wildflowers. Khione holds Mark’s hands and it starts to snow inside the lounge.
Allegra finds Cecile promising Jenna that she will be home the next day. She asks Cecile how long she’s been sleeping in her office. Cecile says she hasn’t slept at home since Joe and Jenna left. She feels like staying in Central City was a bad idea. She feels like Jenna won’t think of her as a mom anymore. But if she moves home full time, she can’t help people like she wants too. Allegra assures Cecile that helping people is showing Jenna how to be an incredible woman. And she will always be mom to Jenna, no matter what.

LUCK BE A LADY
Chester find out that the device has a crystal inside that’s a dark matter refractor. It reverses any meta ability it comes in contact with, but it only works one time. These devices are also manufactured by Goldface. The next question is, why is Becky’s luck powers reversed? Allegra suggests that someone would have to follow Becky around everywhere with a crystal. Cecile and Allegra realize that Becky’s engagement ring has a refracting crystal inside of it.
So who did that to her? Dom? Nope. It was Tony. Tony was with Dom when they bought the engagement ring. Chester pulls Tony’s records and finds out that he’s the one with the gambling debt. Tony must have found out about Becky’s powers. And now he wants to use her to get rich at O’Shaughnessy’s Casino Night. And that’s exactly where Becky and Tony are. Tony is forcing Becky to deal at a blackjack table where he is the only player.
Cecile and Allegra arrive at the bar, but are immediately spotted by one of Tony’s goons. Tony is still playing and getting really rich in the process. Chester is in a van outside of the bar. The girls signal to him that they need a distraction. Chester hacks into the Central City power grid and shuts off the light in the bar. Allegra knocks out Tony’s goon and they head upstairs.

Tony’s other goon holds Becky hostage when they get upstairs. Cecile uses her telekinesis to take off Becky’s ring and Becky pulls away to stand with the girls. Tony instructs his goon to shoot the ladies, but the gun backfires. He gathers his chips and tries to run, but falls down the stairs, knocking himself out. Chester turns the lights back on and Allegra tells him to call Kramer. The ladies toast to their luck.
ALL’S WELL THAT ENDS WELL
The next morning, Allegra and Chester have breakfast with Cecile before she leaves. He still has questions about why Cecile’s powers weren’t working. Cecile says it’s because she was missing her family and feeling like a bad mom. Becky’s luck has changed and her fiancee woke up from his coma. Allegra gets some luck too. Cecile asks her to move in so she won’t be so lonely at home. Allegra excitedly agrees.
The next week, Team Flash throws Barry and Iris a surprise baby shower/welcome home party. While they decorate, Allegra asks Chester to help her decorate. Mark realizes how different Khione is from Frost. When the parents get home, they begin to realize just how soon Nora will be here.
Later at the lab, Chester tells Mark and Khione that he sent Khione’s test results to Carla at Tannhauser Lab. He has never seen anything like the findings and he wanted to make sure he wasn’t nuts. Mark immediately sees that there’s no trace of dark matter or cold fusion in Khione’s DNA. He says she has to be a meta because she made it snow indoors. Chester confirms that Khione is not a meta, but … she’s not human either. Her genetic code is missing 55 of 56 common biometric signatures. So what is Khione?
