Cicada has Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) “Seeing Red” on The Flash. Team Flash has been tracking Cicada/Orlin Dwyer (Chris Kline) to stop him from killing metahumans.  Dwyer wants to rid Central City of metas after they caused his daughter’s injuries. Even though Dwyer is a meta himself, he…and others believe the metas don’t deserve to live.  So it should be no surprise that Dr. Ambres (Lossen Chambers) is able to get a list of metahumans that have a police record.

Cicada goes on a killing spree after receiving the list.  The Team is notified of his whereabouts and race to stop him. Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) is able to stop Cicada and disable his dagger.  Cicada injured a meta before the team got there, so Frostie transforms back to Caitlin to help the meta. Cicada takes the opportunity to break from Killer Frost’s hold and grabs XS/Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy).  He calls his dagger back and stabs Nora in the back and runs away.

Barry and Iris sit with an injured Nora.

The team takes Nora back to STAR Labs where Caitlin examines her. Cicada injured her spine, causing Nora to be temporarily paralyzed. The dark matter from the dagger took Nora’s healing powers, so it will take some time before she can run again. Iris (Candice Patton) stays by her side, while Barry leaves to find Cicada.

Meanwhile, Caitlin has been working on the cure. Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) catches her fighting with Frostie about the cure. Frostie doesn’t like it and will sabotage it every chance she gets. That’s probably why Cisco (Carlos Valdes) left STAR labs to work on it.

Ralph helps Sherloque (Tom Cavanagh) instead and they find that Cicada got a list of metahumans from the police department. Barry and Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) inform Captain Singh (Patrick Sabongui), but Singh tells them not to investigate. As they leave, Cecile decides to get help from the Feds. While she’s working on her part, she detects some strange feelings from one of the officers. She asks if he’s okay. He says he is, but she knows he is angry about something.

Barry decides to find everyone on the list to warn them about Cicada. If they can gather everyone, the Fed may be able to put them in protection. Barry gives the list to Killer Frost. She recognizes one of the names on the list.  Frostie tracks down Norvok (Mark Sweatman), Amunet Black’s former lackey. Norvok was attacked by Cicada but was able to escape. He witnessed Cicada kill his friend though. He agrees to help Killer Frost and The Flash track down the rest of the metas on the list.

Barry makes plans with Killer Frost

The plan is to put them in a safe place until the Feds can arrange transport to hide them from Cicada.  They gather all but one. The Flash tells everyone that they are being targeted. At first, the metas think they can take Cicada, but Norvok tells them about his ability to take away their powers. They all decide to trust the Flash and stay in a safe house.

The last meta is Peek-a-Boo (Britne Oldford). The Flash races to find her and she’s ready to run from him. He tries to talk to her into trusting him, but she keeps phasing. She finally says goodbye and tries to phase, but can’t. Cicada shows up and The Flash tells her to run. He gives her Tachyon device to escape but she doesn’t know how to use it. Flash is able to fight off Cicada long enough to get him and Peek-a-Boo both to safety.

At the safe house, Cecile is sensing some strong feelings coming from Barry. She says it’s similar to what she felt from Cicada, a kind of rage. Cecile realizes that Barry wants to kill Cicada for hurting Nora. She tells Barry to calm down, but she also knows that Barry wouldn’t go to those lengths. Cecile says she felt that rage from someone else. She felt them from the officer at CCPD and thinks he could have leaked the list.

Nora has been resting this whole time, anxious to get up and moving. She wiggles her toes and Sherloque is the only person around. He congratulates her and starts asking her questions about the Flash museum. He wants to see it for himself, presuming that Nora could take him to the future someday. Iris hears their conversation and pulls Sherloque aside. She tells him to stop investigating her daughter. Sherloque plays dumb, but Iris knows he was recording their conversation. She tells him to stop it. Iris leaves to check on Nora as she is trying to walk around.

Ralph asks Killer Frost why she doesn’t want Caitlin to create the meta cure. He says he talked to some of the metas at the safe house and they are on board. Frostie says she is afraid that Caitlin will get rid of her if they are successful. Ralph tells her that when Frostie disappeared, all Caitlin wanted was to get her back. She has nothing to worry about.

Cicada prepares to strike again.

Cicada meets with the dirty cop, letting him know that The Flash knew about the list. The cop tells Cicada that the feds are coming to pick them up. He gives Cicada the location of the safe house. When Cicada gets there, the Feds arrive with a helicopter. Cicada prevents the helicopter from landing and approaches all of the metas.

The Flash sends them all away from Cicada with Ralph. Ralph takes them to a clearing where he can use his powers. The helicopter is hovering over them, so they will have to use their powers to get away. Ralph asks Peek-a-Boo for help, but she refuses. Ralph jumps on the helicopter and reaches down to pick up each meta to put on the chopper.

The Flash faces off with Cicada, but the villain is too strong. Killer Frost comes out to help him. She makes an icy replica of the dagger and they fight. Frostie cuts Cicada, getting a good sample of his blood. He takes his dagger and uses it to blast Frostie backward. Cicada throws the dagger towards the back of the building and through the wall. The dagger flies directly towards Norvok, but Ralph is able to grab him before the dagger hits him.

As the dagger is flying back to Cicada, Frostie stops it with her icy powers. The Flash’s powers come back and he lays a beating on Cicada. Flash is generating a lot of power, enough to throw more than one lightning bolt. XS runs to help him. When she gets there, Flash is about to give Cicada a final blow that could kill him. Flash sees XS up and running, he backs off. Cicada is able to release his dagger from Killer Frost’s ice and he flies away.

Cecile and Captain Singh confront the officer that leaked the list. They found that he not only printed the list from his office computer, but he also sent it to his home computer to print as well. Cecile reads his thoughts. She reveals that he is the cop that Spencer Young controlled in “News Flash.” She made him do things he knew he wasn’t capable of and he didn’t like not being in control. So he gave the list to Cicada to get rid of metas in the city. The officer tries to escape, but there are other police officers waiting for him. They take him away as he protests that metas don’t deserve to live.

Nora is given the all clear as the team resets to find Cicada. Caitlin has an internal conversation with Killer Frost, who gives her consent to create the meta cure. She gives Caitlin a ball of ice with Cicada’s blood inside to help in her research.

Sherloque continues his investigation of Nora. He conducts a handwriting analysis of Nora’s journal and finds two sets of handwriting. Meanwhile, Orlin Dwyer looks through pictures he’s collected on Team Flash. He stops on photos of XS.

At the West-Allen loft, the family finishes dinner. Nora is still healing but insists that she’s okay. After she leaves, Barry says he will never be the same after meeting Nora. He didn’t know he could have so much love for a child. That triggers something. Orlin Dwyer is a father too. So the best way to get to him is through Grace. Barry wants to wake up Grace.

It’s great that everyone is at ease with each other. They are finally working as a team.  I knew Nora’s injury would affect the West-Allens, but I didn’t think it would push Barry to the edge.  He’s not the murdering type.  So I knew he’d stop before doing anything he would regret.  And of course, he’s the dad who figures out how to best approach another dad.  I don’t think it will do any good, but Team Flash can at least try to wake up Grace.

So if Cisco and Caitlin make this cure, who will test it?  My money is on Cicada.
