Robyn meets with a family in need at the restaurant they own. They tell her they lost their savings in the warehouse fire. When they called the company about their insurance, no one answered. Their only hope is for Robyn to find out what’s going on before they lose the restaurant.

Harry (Adam Goldberg) starts looking into Guardian Cash Warehouse because Robyn wants the family to know that someone cares about them and is willing to help them. She takes a look at the warehouse, and Dante tags along with her. The first thing they do is interview the security guard before looking in the vault.

As they inspect the burnt bills, they discover they all have a stamp that says “Unfit for Legal Tender.” The security guard claims the cash was clean when it arrived at the warehouse because he checked it. This means someone set the vault on fire to cover for their robbery.

When Harry looks into it, he discovers a robbery in a recycling center containing the stamped cash. He begins to theorize the robbers got into the warehouse through a tunnel. Robyn and Dante look into that possibility and find a hair at the tunnel entrance. The blonde hair matches a woman Harry can see coming in and out of the warehouse several nights a week.

No Insurance, No Money

Robyn and Dante confront the woman and discover she’s been sleeping with the security guard in the vault, which is how her hair got stuck to the cash. However, she tells them to talk to the owner because he has been using the vault as his piggy bank.

Harry discovers the owner, Wentworth, created the company because he was in debt. Robyn and Dante decide to pay him a visit before he runs away. The moment they start looking around, Wentworth begins to shoot at them from his closet. When they confront him about it, he says he is hiding from a very dangerous client who wants to get his money back. Because there is no insurance, he has no money to give.

As the investigation continues, Harry finds a possible suspect who could have taken the money. When Robyn and Dante arrive at his home, the suspect is gone, but Robyn discovers the young man used to go to the same university as the son of the family who lost everything in the fire. Harry discovers they used to be video game partners.
