Block Parties and Peach Cobbler
Aunt Vi (Lorraine Toussaint) and Robyn (Queen Latifah) start their morning by talking about the block party and how Robyn’s getting to enjoy a day off. That is when Delilah (Laya DeLeon Hayes) walks into the kitchen and tells them that Miles (Ashton Sanders) can join them that day.
As if on cue, Dante calls Robyn to let her know that he will be on his way to the block party after taking his father to the funeral of his former partner. After speaking to Robyn, he and his father argue about all the times he hasn’t shown up for himself or his grandchildren.

At the block party, Aunt Vi and Barbara argue about who will win first place in the peach cobbler competition. That is when they find out a judge is out, so Harry (Adam Goldberg) will replace him, trying the different cobblers in the competition.
In the meantime, Delilah and Robyn are talking to Miles, laughing and reminiscing. Delilah sees her friend Cam made it to the block party, so she ditches her parents to say hello. Cam introduces her to his friend Tyrese, but he soon leaves them alone, and they start talking about Cam’s new app. Delilah tells him he did well when he chose not to go to college and that she is reconsidering college herself, so she’d like to talk to him.

Unaware of what is happening, Robyn watches Mel (Liza Lapira) sing karaoke at the block party. When he sees Mel and Harry, Miles asks her if they are part of her operation and wonders if she has given another thought to him joining the team because she knows they are great in the field together. Robyn says she needs to consider it a bit longer, and Miles asks her to play H.O.R.S.E. for it.
A Commotion
While her parents are playing, Delilah is still with Cam when they hear a commotion because the money from the raffle has been stolen. Delilah suggests they ask Tyrese if he saw something, but when questioned, he gets defensive and walks away. Moments later, Mel comes over to ask if they have seen anything, but because neither of them saw what happened, she finds another person who may have recorded what happened.

Dante and his father are still hiding in the warehouse, and he realizes he lost his phone in the crash. When they begin to wonder who might be coming after them, Dante mentions it’s probably someone from Ben’s past, as if he was condemned to pay for his mistakes.
The two of them can’t come to an agreement. Instead, Ben focuses on burning Dante’s gunshot wound to stop him from losing any more blood.

Mel finds Delilah and Cam and shows them the footage she could find from the time of the robbery. They can only see a sneaker leaving the scene, which Cam and Delilah immediately recognize as Tyrese’s. Cam and Delilah argue about it because he believes his friend isn’t capable of stealing. An Unexpected Revelation
While his father is wounded on the floor, Dante tells him he recognizes the man from a drug ring that had taken his partner, so maybe they are after him. Ben encourages Dante to get away, telling him he won’t be able to keep going. Because he believes he is dying, in that moment, he tells Dante that he has a brother, which is why he constantly had to leave him and his mother behind.

She calls Harry a clown, but instead of getting mad at her, he lists every ingredient in her cobbler. That is when he mentions that it was clear her cobbler was bought from a famous store. Barbara obviously can’t defend herself and ends up walking away.
When Robyn returns, Harry mentions that there are no signs of Dante’s car ever leaving the city, and none of the passengers are in any of the hospitals in the city. The only option they have now is to start tracking their steps after they leave Ben’s place.

After managing to get his father up and ready to go, Dante comes face-to-face with the only shooter left. Luckily for him, Robyn kills the shooter before he can kill them.
Dante and Robyn stand outside his father’s hospital room and talk about his father’s prognosis. When Robyn asks what else is bothering him, Dante tries to avoid the subject, but she convinces him to tell her.
