What happens when an angel and a demon team up to stop the apocalypse?  Well, you get Neil Gaiman’s series Good Omens, that’s what. And we finally have the first trailer from the Amazon Prime series.

Good Omens is based on the book by Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.  The show stars Michael Sheen as the angel Aziraphale and David Tennant as the demon Crowley.  Together they have take on the task of finding the Anti-Christ to stop Armageddon, but end up losing him.

In the first trailer for the series, the four horsemen have been unleashed and the Anti-Christ is about to unleash Hell.  The angel-demon duo must set aside differences to work together to find the child. Of course there are other forces at work here, meddling angels, demons, and more than likely humans as well.  

This dark comedy also stars Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman, Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of Satan, Frances McDormand as the voice of God, and Brian Cox as the voice of death. Other fun cast members include Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Michael McKean, Anna Maxwell Martin, Mireille Enos and many more.

It is produced by Amazon Studios, BBC Studios, The Blank Corporation and Narrativia. Gaiman, Douglas Mackinnon, Chris Sussman, Simon Winstone and Rob Wilkins serve as Executive Producers.

The end is nigh. Coming to Prime Video in 2019. Based on the best-selling novel by renowned authors Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, this series follows the story of Aziraphale, an angel, and Crowley, a demon, who have formed an unlikely friendship spanning 6,000 years and have grown fond of life on earth. However, the end of time grows near with the approaching Armageddon and they must now join forces to find a way to save the world.

Good Omens is set to debut at SXSW, with an Amazon release date of May 31, 2019
