The Summer Game Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley hit the ground running today with tons of new trailers for upcoming video games. One of which I have been patiently waiting for since finishing The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope. And Bandai Namco is here to deliver with not only a brand new trailer for Supermassive Games’ The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes but a release date as well!

House of Ashes follows a military unit searching for chemical weapons when they unearth something far deadlier. Evil awakens within the ruins of a buried Sumerian Temple deep beneath the Arabian desert. The nest of ancient and unearthly creatures has awakened and found new prey to hunt. Like the other titles within the series, we will face horrific discoveries and impossible decisions as we navigate the subterranean labyrinth.

The trailer for House of Ashes reminds me why I continue to come back to Supermassive Games every year. They truly know how to tell a horror story and it shows. I’m excited to dive into the third installment of the anthology. Just hearing the curator’s voice is a rush! But, we won’t have to wait long either. They shared that the game is set to release on October 22, 2021! Just in time for Halloween!

Check out the trailer below and let us know how excited you are! The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes will release on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Check out preorder information here!
