The Arrowverse is growing as the CW begins casting for the Superman & Lois series. Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin will play the sons of Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) in the straight-to-series order.

Elsass will play Jonathan. Deadline describes Jonathan as “clean-cut, modest, and kind-hearted”… just like his dad! Garfin will play Jordan. He’s described as “wildly intelligent,”preferring to spend a lot of time playing video games and limits his time with people.

Superman & Lois revolves around “the world’s most famous superhero and comics’ most famous journalist as they deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.”

Clark and Lois announced their pregnancy in last year’s CW/Arrowverse crossover, Elseworlds. Because of Clark’s alien DNA, Lois had to go to Argo City to have the baby. When this year’s crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths, began, the super couple introduced their son Jonathan to the Arrowverse. But when the Crisis was over, Lois revealed they now have two sons. This was funny because, even with all of his memories intact, Superman only recalled having one son. And that one son was a baby when the Crisis began. Hmmm…Clark and Lois look pretty good for having teenage sons!

Superman & Lois is written by Todd Helbing. Helbing executive produces with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.  The series is based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

Superman & Lois is currently in development at The CW.
