God save the Queen! The Crown delivered a gripping teaser for its upcoming fourth season on Tuesday. It mainly highlighted the tumultuous relationship between Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor) and Diana Spencer (Emma Corrin).
Now, the teaser was narrated by the late Archbishop of Canterbury, Robert Runcie, who officiated the couple’s lavish wedding in real life. Said narration is particularly ominous when coupled with the heated scenes between the lovebirds. We see Diana and Charles arguing, Queen Elizabeth II (Olivia Colman) appearing stoic as ever and newly christened Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson) grappling with her new role.

Additionally, we see Princess Margaret (Helena Bonham Carter) in a murky mental state. Prince Philip (Tobias Menzies) looking quite frosty toward his wife. In short — there’s a heaping helping of drama of the royal persuasion heading our way soon.
Season Four of The Crown will focus on Charles and Diana’s courtship and subsequent unraveling. We’ll see how her star rises and her tempestuous relationship with the paparazzi. Of course, our main character Queen Elizabeth II will continue to deal with her fair share of obstacles including Prime Minister Thatcher.
You can take a gander at the teaser below. The Crown stars Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies, Helena Bonham Carter, Josh O’Connor, Emma Corrin and Gillian Anderson. Season Four is slated for release Sunday, November 15, only on Netflix.
