It’s the season of the witch and The Craft: Legacy. Blumhouse and Columbia Pictures have released the first trailer and poster for the continuation of the 1996 film, The Craft. That’s right, ’90s kids, the next generation of witches are coming.

The Craft: Legacy stars Cailee Spaeny as the new girl in town, Hannah, who befriends three young ladies who dabble in witchcraft. Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone and Zoey Luna need a fourth to complete their coven. And they pick a powerful one. When the girls become friends, that’s when the magic starts happening. It appears that Hannah might be too powerful for her own good, though. Bad things start happening, and it appears that the new coven tries to bind Hannah from doing any harm. There are plenty of throwbacks to the original film, and Hannah is connected somehow to Fairuza Balk‘s character, Nancy Downs.

Sony Pictures announced today in a press release that the film will be available on PVOD this Halloween. “Zoe Lister-Jones has put a bewitching twist on continuing The Craft franchise, and October is the perfect season for it,” said producer Jason Blum. “We’re thrilled that our partners at Sony Pictures are looking at the landscape opportunistically this Halloween, for audiences to watch at home in the U.S.”

Directed by and written by Zoe Lister-Jones, The Craft: Legacy also stars Michelle Monaghan and David Duchovny. Blum serves as producer for Blumhouse with Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher for Red Wagon Entertainment. Check out the trailer and poster below.

The Craft: Legacy will be available On Demand on October 28.
