Payback is on the horizon — ask Homelander. On Friday, Prime Video unveiled a teaser announcing the release date for The Boys Season Three! While it’s short (it’s only 20 seconds long), we get a taste of where the leader of The Seven is on the mental front.

In the clip, we see Homelander (Antony Starr) and Starlight (Erin Moriarty) posing for photos while Ashley (Colby Minifie) observes nervously. As the camera closes in on Homelander’s face, we see his expression abruptly change from forced cheerfulness to anger.

However, before he morphs into a full-fledged Angry Supe, the scene cuts to black.

Then, Prime Video awards us with that long-awaited release date information. Huzzah!

The Boys, created by Eric Kripke and based on the comic books by Garth Ennis, is one of Prime’s most successful original series. The show gave birth to two spin-offs, one set in college and an animated series called Diabolical.

As for The Boys‘ highly anticipated third season, we learned last year Jensen Ackles and Laurie Holden will recur on the series as Soldier Boy and Crimson Countess, respectively.

Regarding things to come, Kripke revealed we’d get to see the infamous “superhero orgy” scene adapted from the comics in Season Three. It’s lifted from the mini-series Herogasm, and, if the name is anything to go by, it seems we’re in for a wild ride.

The Boys Season Three premieres on Friday, June 3, only on Prime Video. Check out the teaser below!
