Attention, Stephen King fans! The trailer and poster for The Boogeyman, the latest adaptation of a King story, just dropped, and we are here for the scares. Here is everything we know about the film and the trailer.
This horror-thriller tells the story of a high school student, Sadie, and her younger sister Sawyer. The two sisters are dealing with the recent loss of their mother, and their therapist father is not providing much support. To make matters worse, a patient unexpectedly shows up at the family’s home and brings a supernatural entity with him. Unfortunately, the entity, which feeds on suffering, stays behind.

The Boogeyman is based on a short story by Stephen King. The screen story is by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. Beck, Woods and Mark Heyman wrote the screenplay. Rob Savage directed the film. The movie stars Sophie Thatcher, Chris Messina, Vivien Lyra Blair, Marin Ireland, Madison Hu, LisaGay Hamilton and David Levine.
In the trailer, we see one of the girls investigating after hearing something under her bed. Based on what is seen in the trailer, the film seems to work with several jump scares. While viewers only get a brief glimpse of the creature, it is enough to strike intrigue.
