New Episodes of The Bear Will Be Here Soon
New episodes of FX’s hit show The Bear will air sooner than expected. The network announced a summer release date this week, alongside a short teaser for season 3. Read on to find out what else we know about the new season,

The Bear follows a young chef named Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) who leaves the world of fine dining to take over his family’s Chicago sandwich shop after his brother dies. Season 2 saw the cast renovating the restaurant to create an elite fine-dining establishment. However, expenses pile up, and everything that could go wrong does.
Additional cast members for seasons 1 and 2 include Ayo Edebiri as aspiring young chef Sydney and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Carmy’s childhood friend, aka Cousin Richie, as well as Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott and Matty Matheson. Season 2 also featured a range of guest stars like Olivia Colman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Will Poulter, John Mulaney and more.

Hulu and FX renewed the series for a third season in November 2023, just a few months after season 2 aired. Season 3 only began filming on location in Chicago this March, so the quick turnaround is a surprise for fans. Episodes of season 4 were also filmed at this time, so we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer.
A Mysterious Teaser Trailer
The new teaser shows Carmy back in the kitchen — apparently having been freed from the freezer. He’s alone in the restaurant in the middle of the night. As he looks directly into the camera, the perspective shifts, zooming outside the restaurant for a view of the Chicago skyline. It’s more of an announcement than an actual look at season 3, but it’s still exciting to have a release date so soon.
