The Bear Season 4
Good news, cousins — we’re getting even more episodes of The Bear than we thought. Unnamed sources confirmed a fourth season to Deadline this week. Read on to find out what we know about the upcoming seasons.
The Bear follows a young chef named Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) who leaves the world of fine dining to take over his family’s Chicago sandwich shop after his brother dies. Season 2 saw the cast renovating the restaurant to create a fine dining establishment of their own. However, this is easier said than done, as expenses pile up and everything that could go wrong does.

Additional cast members for seasons 1 and 2 include Ayo Edebiri as aspiring young chef Sydney and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Carmy’s childhood friend, aka Cousin Richie, as well as Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott and Matty Matheson. Season 2 featured a wide range of guest stars, such as Olivia Colman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Will Poulter, John Mulaney and more.
The first season of The Bear won 10 Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy and Outstanding Writing. Season 2 also won Golden Globes for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy, alongside best actor wins for White and Edebiri.

Hulu and FX renewed the series for a third season in November 2023, just a few months after season 2 aired. Season 3 began filming on location in Chicago last month. Eagle-eyed fans soon guessed that more than one season was being filmed. One reason for this may be White and Edebiri’s rising fame, as filming seasons back-to-back allows them to take on more feature roles.
