Season one of American Gods left us on the precipice of war and outside the gates of House on the Rock. Season two picks up right where the first season left off. The gods are preparing for war. Shadow (Ricky Whittle) is caught in the middle. Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) says, “The wars are coming, Shadow. I have a big role for you.” Then, “Time to ride” as they all get on the incredible carousel at House on the Rock.
The trailer is full of evocative imagery that takes us through time and space. Mad Sweeney (Pablo Schreiber) and Mr. World (Crispin Glover) feature prominently. We see snippets of the origins of the gods, their current forms, and their pasts. This season looks just as remarkably beautiful as the last. And, we can assume that season two will likely get to the end of the source material and reveal what is in store for Shadow. We don’t want to give spoilers in this article, but you can expect a twist, if they’re sticking with the book!
The epic war of the gods begins. Where will you stand?

I like to like things and talk about them.
I like to pretend.
I like to make things.
I like to write things down.
