You know it’s getting close to the release date when trailers start hitting TV. May 1st is both right around the corner and so very far away! Avengers: Age of Ultron is so far away!
There’s not really any new footage in this trailer, and we definitely still do not have anything showing us The Vision, which seems to be Marvel’s biggest kept secret at the moment. What we do have, though, is Black Widow saying, “We have no place in the world,” which would seem to suggest either that they have no safe place to call home, no place to locate a base of operations because Avengers Tower was destroyed or that the entire world hates them. Safe money says it’s a combination of all three.
And then Ultron saying, “I’m going to tear you apart from the inside…” is very clearly a reference to the concept of divide and conquer. We already knew that was coming, but to hear Ultron’s voice saying it is chilling.
Something tells me that the ending we get in this film will not be near as hopeful as in the first film…
