The Almost Gone is a thought-provoking narrative puzzle game from game developer Happy Volcano and publisher Playdigious. The game won awards in 2016, 2017, and 208 for best PC Indie Pitch, Most Innovative Game, and much more. They are now ready to share this beautiful story with players on multiple platforms. The story, written by awarding winner author Joost Vandecasteele, follows a young girl who is trapped between the worlds of life and death. She must explore her surroundings to uncover the dark truth behind her death.

In The Almost Gone, the player will explore the girl’s life one scene at a time to find clues and uncover paths forward. The story will take us through different parts of the girl’s life. These include her home, streets, and even a hospital. Each scene is brought to life as a beautifully rendered diorama. The story is told over 5 chapters that will slowly have the player uncovering the truth. The Almost Gone will release in 8 languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Dutch.

The Almost Gone is set to release on June 25, 2020 for PC through Steam, the Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
