Proving once more that he’s one of the nicest guys out there, Terry Crews took to his WhoSay account to congratulate Mike Colter on landing his role as Luke Cage for Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series, A.K.A. Jessica Jones. After A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Mike Colter will be starring in his own Netflix series centering on Luke Cage.
He said: “Congratulations to my man Mike Colter for being cast as LUKE CAGE! A brilliant actor for one of my favorite superheroes ever! Love him!”
Though Crews has been a fan favorite to take on the thick-skinned muscle of one of Marvel’s strongest heroes, Marvel announced just last week that The Following’s Mike Colter would be taking the role. It appears that we’ll have to continue getting our Terry Crews fix from Brooklyn Nine-Nine and his amazing Old Spice commercial.
