Terminator Zero
On June 6th, Netflix announced that Timothy Olyphant was cast as one of science fiction’s most classic characters in the upcoming animated series, Terminator Zero. Olyphant will voice sci-fi’s favorite cyborg, the Terminator. Today, the streamer announced four more voice actors from the series.
Terminator Zero will be part of the Terminator universe. The series takes place in two time periods including the one that started the humans vs. machines saga. In 2022, a future war has raged for decades between the few human survivors and an endless army of machines. In 1997, the AI known as Skynet gained self-awareness and began its war against humanity.

Judgement Day
The eight-episode Terminator Zero series drops on August 29th which has significance in the Terminator universe. August 29, 1997, is Judgement Day – the day when “everything changes” and Cyberdyne System’s artificial intelligence network Skynet becomes aware.
Terminator Zero was created by Mattson Tomlin (Project Power, The Batman II). In addition, Tomlin will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the project. The series is also executive produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger from Skydance, not to be confused with Skynet. At least, we hope.
