Teaser and Sneak Peek for Episode 5 of Fear the Walking Dead: ‘Cobalt’

In this first season of Fear the Walking Dead, we (and by ‘we’ I mean ‘I’) have accepted that this series will be a slow burn that showcases the emotional drama between the main cast rather than Walkers. It reminds me of the Battlestar Galactica prequel series Caprica. I loved Caprica but a lot of viewers just wanted Cylons. Fair enough.

On the last episode of Fear the Walking Dead, ‘Not Fade Away‘,  we got a dose of the familiar trope where the government is shady and there may be some conspiracy happening. Of all the events on the four episodes so far, this was my least favorite aspect. Why does the military and government always have to be bad? Anyway, according to the below sneak peek, not all the soldiers are assholes.

Also, I have theory – all those dead bodies that Madison saw in the streets – are they going to rise up when the ‘virus’ mutates like when Shane rose up on The Walking Dead? Hmmmmm.

Also, I’m curious. Will they eventually have a name for the Walkers? What will it be? They probably won’t since there are only two episodes left. Let’s hope they get a second season.

Also, Daniel Salazar (Ruben Blades) is badass.

Here’s the skinny on next week’s episode called ‘Cobalt’: The National Guard’s plan for the neighborhood is revealed; Travis and Madison make a difficult decision.
