Last week we had the chance to share a brand new music video for The Doubleclicks and this week, we have the opportunity to share that they have a release date for Teaching a Robot to Love! Laser Malena-Webber and their sister Aubrey Turner worked alongside producer E. Aaron Wilson to create one of the most science-fun-filled musicals to date. We have gotten a taste of a few of the songs, including Science at Home and we are only slightly obsessed.
The musical recording of Teaching a Robot to Love features the voice talents of Malena-Webber, Turner, Aliza Pearl, Amy Dallen, Bonnie Gordon, Xander Jeanneret, Zach Reino and Morgan Peters. The story follows Mary Coral (Pearl), who is on the road to creating the most outstanding science program of all time and making her dreams come true. So, it’s perfect that she’s being asked to do her summer internship at Advernado. But what happens when Mary meets Faun (Dallen), a biology intern obsessed with pushing the boundaries? Or Lavender (Gordon) and Billie(Jeanneret), fellow interns who want to beat Mary to the punch?

Malena-Webber shared, “We’re incredibly thankful to the fans who made it possible for us to write the musical and record this album, and I’m really looking forward to telling this story visually.” We 100% agree that we need both the album and an on-screen/stage adaptation of Teaching a Robot to Love!
