This week on Take A Look Back Tuesday in honor of Canada Day, we shall visit an “old” television series that I was obsessed with in high school, called Forever Knight.
It’s a Canadian series that ran from 1992 to 1996, about a Detective Vampire, Nick Knight. I thought this series was super romantic and lusty. I still maintain that this is what a good vampire story is, not the bedazzled, boring vampires of today.
Nick Knight is an 800 year old vampire detective who was a medieval knight in France. He works to bring criminals to justice in Toronto, because of his profound guilt on having to survive by drinking blood. He drinks animal blood to survive, instead. So noble.
