For Day 68 of our #Essential125 Film Scores we turn to the music of Maurice Jarre. For two of his best scores, he collaborated with director Peter Weir, who also contributed to the score. 1989's Dead Poets Society was a seminal project for all involved, but Jarre and Weir's anachronistic score was especially haunting and beautiful.
